A Meta catalog feed with a finished ad for every product

Richicat creates a catalog feed with its own link. Add it to Meta Commerce Manager as a data source, and your Advantage+ catalog ads show your designs instead of plain product photos.

Three images per product, each where it fits

Meta picks the image that suits the placement. Square comes first, so nothing gets cropped in Commerce Manager.

  • The Top Handle Bag ad, square size.

    Square 1200 × 1200

    image_link

Feed and right column. Commerce Manager shows this one.

  • The Top Handle Bag ad, portrait size.

    Portrait 1200 × 1500

    additional_image_link

Instagram and Facebook feeds, where taller ads get more of the screen.

  • The Top Handle Bag ad, story size.

    Story 1080 × 1920

    additional_image_link

    Stories and Reels, full screen.

What Meta reads

One product from a feed, as Meta fetches it. The feed is built when Meta asks for it, so price, sale price and stock are as fresh as your last sync.

Variants share one group id, and the feed’s name goes in a custom label you can filter ad sets by.

Into Commerce Manager in four steps

Keep Shopify’s own Meta channel for checkout and the pixel. The Richicat feed is a separate data source that carries the designed images.

  1. In Richicat, publish the feed and copy its link.

  2. In Meta Commerce Manager, open your catalog and choose Data sources, then Add items.

  3. Pick Data feed, paste the link and set how often Meta fetches it.

  4. Run Advantage+ catalog ads on the catalog. Each product shows its designed ad.

One feed for each set of ads

Each feed has its own products, design and link. Run a sale feed and an everyday feed side by side, or the same products in two designs to see which one sells.

Questions

Which plans include the Meta feed?

How often does Meta fetch the feed?

You set the schedule in Commerce Manager, typically hourly or daily. Richicat always serves the latest version of the feed.
